Ditto, here, except that, 1) I have a ROM 03, not a ROM 01, 2) I can't
notice it if the fan is on, except if 3) the SoundMeister plugged into
my stereo, with the stereo volume turned up.

And with the SoundMeister, I can hear different tones with each type
of operation with the computer (e.g. disk reads/disk writes/QuickDraw
routines/etc.)  Pretty cool, huh?
