Zip drives don't supply terminator power, and the HS SCSI doesn't either out
the box. I hear you can modify it to do so. Something on the SCSI bus has
to supply terminator power, either the CPU or another device. You couldn't
use a Zip alone on a Mac Plus or Powerbook for the same reason. The result
is funky I/O errors and the dead Mac with X's for eyes in the case of the
Plus.
