The disk drives can be hard to tell apart these days due to yellowing,
but the beige units where actually labelled UniDisk to contrast with
DuoDisk. The later platinum ones are called Apple 5.25" .
I don't believe there's such a thing as a platinum DuoDisk. The
UniDisk 3.5" remained white, and the DuoDisk 3.5" was never released.
I can confirm that both the Monitor II and Composite Colour Monitor II
were made in both colours. I did have examples of all combinations at
one stage.
