GBBS "Pro" could support fast modems.  GBBS "Pro" was one of if not the
most responsive BBS packages available.  When you told it to stop
scrolling a message or to abort reading a message, it did it right
away.  Z-Modem support did come out.  As for dates, it took awhile for
it to become 1990-aware.  I've seen sites with dates like 198:.  (Hmm, I
wonder if GBBS "Pro" is millenium-aware.  I might have to fire up a copy
and try it out.)
