   Thanks a bunch for all the help!! I was able to get Printshop printing
just fine. It turned out that it was the printers fault, the cartridge was
broken (the ribbon broke, and it wasn't seated correctly) but I was able
to fix it and am now having lots of fun! I was able to create a simple
ProDOS BASIC program to send typed data to the printer. 
   BTW: using PR#1 as a simple command, it works just fine, except the
message is printed:

#60 #40 [message]

I assume that the numbers are correspoding to the code lines inmy program,
but it doesn't really matter anyway. As for getting the Scribe on my mac,
I have yet to succefully print anything, even just using the serial tool.
Also, I have a old 14.4 modem  (Prometheus ProModem 14.4e) that will
connect to the IIc using the printers cable, but I can't seem to send any
data to the modem (using the ProDOS program, I don't have a terminal
program yet). 
   As for connecting the IIc to the Mac, I have yet to get the right
cables, but I will post if I have a problem. Thanks for all your help!
