Macintosh <-->Apple IIc: Please help

Please Help,
	I have a Macintosh computer, an IBM compatible, and an Apple IIc. I
very much want to be able to download Apple II software, but I have no
terminal program or modem for the Apple. I have tried null modem from
the Mac to the Apple, and even transfered ADT to the Apple, but it
doesn't seem to do anything. I can run it on the Mac and the Apple just
fine, but when I run on the Apple the directory command reports nothing
in the directory and says it's "waiting for PC to send" (or something to
that effect), which I can't figure out. I also read the Apple II FAQ,
but it didn't have the info I need (no offense ;)!) Anyway, if anyone
can help me I'd appreciate it immensely :). I'm especially interested
in obtaining copies of Brickout and ShadowKeep, my 2 favorite games from
back in the 80's. Thanks in advance :).

BTW: I read something in my searches on the internet about the IIc
having a "terminal mode" that was very obscure and not used often. It
sounds like it might be useful, so if anyone knows anything about that
let me know as well. Thanks :).
