The Scribe is functionaly equivilent to the ImageWriter II. Hook it up the same
way you would an ImageWriter I to a Mac, use Apple's ImageWriter driver. 

I did this fairly often many Mac's back (System software versions too), 
certainly not since System 7, but I see no real reason it wouldn't work.
If it doesn't, they are probably interogating the hardware just a wee bit
more than before.

The exception is the Dip Switches need to be configured as if the thing
was attached to a //e (Super Serial) and not a //c.

I seem to have 2 of the Scribe Part 1 manuals, no part 2 which has the DIP
settings for inside the printer.
