Almost. Here is something that worked on my GUS sound card from a
Pee Cee; it might only work in a ][ with adequate cooling:
Take a plastic bag, glue/tape some tin-foil to the inside of it
Put another plastic bag around your card
Slip the foil/bag over the first bag (and card)
The foil blocks a lot of the noise and the plastic keeps it
from conducting electricity. Stupid but it has
worked for me.
