Not true. The LaserWriter Select 360 is a Postscript / LaserJet
compatible printer with three ports - AppleTalk (Mini-DIN 8), serial
RS-232 (DB-25), AND parallel Centronics (Micro Ribbon 36). From an old
Mac, you can do AppleTalk via a standard Mac serial cable, if you don't
need more than one Mac and one Printer networked. I'd assume that the
same is true for the IIgs, though I don't know. But even if not, you
should be able to use it on your IIgs via a serial Mac-to-PC null modem
cable.
