Jobs _killed_ the Apple II. His push for the Mac let the Apple //e
development languish, even though it's what buttered his bread. And he
certainly didn't create the Apple II, other than marketing ideas like the
rainbow logo, etc.
In retrospect, Sculley did give us the //c, //c+ and IIGS, not to mention
System 6.0.1. Helluva lot more than Jobs gave us. Of course, they both
look like Saints compared to Spindler. :)
