You have Steve confused with John Sculley.  Apple ousted Steve because
they wanted John's direction, and Steve afterall was a hardass.  Steve
*created* the Apple II and the Mac -- and in the physical sense at that.

Not in this lifetime, bub.  Neither of the Steves need Apple to survive,
though NeXT could use a shot in the arm after killing the hardware part
of their operation so if S.Jobs is coming back it's not in the capacity
he used to be in.  But hey, somebody keep us posted on this rumor.
