Apple ][c+ Questions

Hi everyone!

" Some models of the IIc Plus were even
shipped with 256K of extra memory already
added. It was faster than any other Apple II
ever produced (including the 2.8 MHz IIGS),
and was probably the finest 8-bit computer
Apple ever produced."

Quote from The Apple ][ History.

Great reading! Here is my story I saw an
Apple ][c at a Used Computer outlet awhile
ago, and became very interested in the Apple ][
line of computers. After searching on the web
I discovered this and a few other sites about the
Apple ][. I went back to buy that ][c, but a ROM
check showed me that It was not worth my time (255)

I recently saw an Apple ][ for sale in my Canadian
forsale newsgroup and didn't hesitate to check
up on it. Well to my surprise, it was the "finest
8 bit computer ever made" the Apple ][c+ with an
external 5 1/4, 13" Colour Monitor, Joystick, and
barely any software, but ALL original mauals for
everything, and a $101.oo price tag. I bought it.

I have actually never seen a ][c+ (not even a
picture) and I understand that it really doesn't
look like the the original ][c. Has anyone seen,
own, have a picture of a ][c+?

What are your impressions of this fine 8 bit
computer?

I use computers daily, and without them I would
not have a career, but I purchased this thing as
a hobby machine. Something away from the home
office. I am interested in the things that all
you Apple][ users use your Apple]['s for.

I may use it to control the lights in my house
or something, has anyone done this?

I am really interested in an open dialog with
another Apple][ user about the machine, and it's
uses. (Kitchener-Waterloo Ontario Canada area
users Group exist?)

I could concievably do all this with my AMIGA's
or my Vic 20, or Osborne 1, but that would not
be useful as a hobby (know too much about them,
and use the AMIGA's daily in my business) So I
am new, fresh, and eager!

My name is Roy C. Anthony and I greet you all!
I look forward to actively participating in this
newsgroup!

Thanks!
