wall of gs's in store
what a sight. i wandered into a local computer junk store
last weekend to see if there was any neat stuff. in one
section of the store, there was a whole wall of our
beloved gs's stacked up. there was about 70 cpu boxes
there! a few were woz signature cases, most weren't.
the was also a heap of 3.5 drives, maybe a dozen, and
a stack of monochrome monitors. there were also a few
keyboards lying around. each machine i looked in was
_extremely_ dusty and contained a rev a or b scsi card
and what i think was a printer card.
i've never seen that many gs's together. perhaps i'll go
back and buy a signature model. stacked 8 high, and
8 across, plus some more on top and on a table nearby.
does anyone know offhand what the numbers/dates on the
vgc chip are that indicate the debugged version? any
particular machine serial numbers of interest?
