The //gs internal serial ports are better then the SSC. Pull that
SSC and save it for a //e. Using the cntl-open apple-ESC keys set the
control panel slot 2 to modem. Get a din 8 - db25 Macintosh modem
cable and plug it into slot 2 serial port.
Proterm will detect the change and ask you to reconfigure.
Choose the //gs modem port driver.
P.S. The PT3.code0 file should be dated AUG-95. That file includes
The latest drivers for todays faster modems. If what you had worked
fine on the //e it will work fine on the //gs. But you should call
up Intrec for the latest PT3.code0 file.
