You are posting in an Apple II newsgroup, so we don't know much about
Macs. If you also have a IIGS sitting around, though, the solution
is simple. Just connect the 120MB drive to a IIGS with an Apple (HS
or rev. C) SCSI card, boot up the IIGS, run the Advanced Disk Utilities,
partition the drive. If you want to drive to work on a Mac, there is
a program from the ground.isca.uiowa.edu ftp site that extracts the Mac
driver from the Advanced Disk Utility file. You'll also need this
program. First run it to install the driver, then while partitioning
in ADU, answer that you want the drive to work on a Mac. The extracted
driver will be installed. Format the drive with the HFS filesystem.

The drive will now work on a Mac (or a IIGS, for that matter).
