Not exactly.  The above mentioned cable IS THE SAME as a null modem cable,
so you do not have to add a separate null modem adapter at all.

However, the older //c does not use the same cable as a IIc+ (the IIc+ has
the same port as the Mac while older //c computers do not).  You will need
a "//c to ImageWriter II" cable if you have an older //c, but if you use
such a cable, you won't need a separate null modem adapter.

Just plug the DIN 5 end into the //c and the DB-25 end into the PC and you
will be ready.
