Talk requests are so rude, do you really expect anyone with a life to
answer them? I don't condone what appears to be an unwarranted kick,
if your summation is correct, but you do lose points for making
a winternet.com reference, especially since more than half of the 
channel operators there have nothing to do with the old Winternet.

But I'm not here to defend the channel, much less justify its behavior.
If you feel better 'served' elsewhere, then go there, and encourage
everyone to go there, but leave us alone, we don't have time to worry
about some guy talking bad about us on Usenet generally. And trust me,
none of us really cares enough to fly to Germany to kick your schwanz.
