A "NEW" old AppleII/e User with lots of questions ...
Hello everybody!
After more than 10 years I would like to reactivate my Apple II again.
Unfortunately at that time I did not have a modem/communications program
to connect it to mailboxes. I own an IBM PC with a modem now, but I have no
idea where I can get communications programs and how I can copy them
from a PC to Apple disks. So I have a couple of questions and hopefully
somebody in this newsgroup can help me.
1.) Where do I find Apple II archive sites? Is there any list available?
2.) What kind of public domain terminal programs do exist?
3.) Is there a program to read/write/format Apple DOS 3.3 disks on PC's?
4.) Where can I get the program "shrinkit"?
5.) How can I get Disk images of my Apple II disks?
6.) What is the best (most compatible) Apple II emulator on the PC?
Thank you very much in advance for helping me with my problems. I am really
excited to use my good old Apple II again - after 10 years ...
