I was surprised about that myself, considering Mac/PC users also
bumble into comp.sys.amiga once in a while and insult the inhabitants
there. This debate originally started when some Macintosh fellow
realized that Apple was going to not support 68k Macs in the
next "Mac OS." Someone asked what was the big deal, it is progress.
It was then that some Mac types pointed out that Apple had a history
of abadoning its user base and ended by saying "just ask Apple II
users how they feel about Apple."
All of the sudden, they started cross posting into comp.sys.apple2,
which would have been fine if they just wanted an opinion, but
they started to post nonsense about how "the Apple II never sold
well" and "Apple IIs never had business software and always had
48K of RAM" and other such nonsense.
I believe when people start spewing misinformation about any
computer platform in the newsgroup of that platform, the people
of that platform have a right to correct it.

I agree. It is a mystery why some anti-Apple II types hang out
here for the seemingly sole purpose of posting anti-Apple II
stuff.

The 16-bit SoundBlaster Pro has a greater dynamic range. The older
8-bit Soundblaster that was around a few years ago did not.

Good luck in finishing Fast Eddie. Maybe then we can all move to
PowerMacs and take our software along. Stenciling "PowerGS" next
to the PowerMac logo, of course. :)
