Spectrum gives error $110A on launch!

Well, after using Spectrum for over a year with NO problems I
recently have had to reload it (new hard drive -- old one died).

Everything else works on my IIgs as it should. BUT!, Spectrum
won't launch. I get a text screen saying:

Sorry, system error $110A occurred
while trying to run the next
application. Return to launching
application or restart system?

Restart         Return


I don't have my IIgs notes/docs handy but I recall that error $11xx
is a system loader problem?!?! So, what is going on?

I also can't reload Spectrum using the Installer program on the 
original program disk! The installer tells me it can't find one
of the 'source' files. Anyway, everything else runs fine. The hardware
all checks out (checked with hard drive utils and Apple Diagnostic utility).

This is bordering on the bizarre. I'd like to be able to use my IIgs again
for telecom.
