Sounds like you may have bad drives.
Try swapping drive 1 for 2 (swap cables at controller card).
The usual problem is the analog card on top inside the drive.
All the parts are socketed. Swap parts one at a time until either a good
one is
bad or a bad one is good. The first method is best, because there may be
more
than one bad chip.
If the problem is disks, try getting replacements at a local user group.
If that won't work, send me E-Mail, we'll work something out.
You might try finding a User Group in the area.
Call Apple at 1-800-538-9696 and ask about User Groups.
