The "brick" (power supply) for my Apple IIc died today.
I plan to take it apart and fix the supply.
Before I cut the case apart, I thought I'd check here for some tips
on getting it apart and repairing the supply.
The output is now 0 VDC. The primary of the transformer is OK.
I learned this by holding a magnet close to the brick when it is pluged in.
I could feel the magnet vibrate..
I have the following questions:
1) What is the best (and easiest) way to open the brick?
2) Any tips on the common causes of "brick" failure and how to fix them?
