Let me quote this words from the GS+ magazine:
"Love these guys! First they came out with a cheap porting system which
makes the IIgs games look like cheap IBM ports (which they are!) and then
they crushed us cruelly into the ground! If you think games like Thexder
or Silpheed are good, know that this are licensed products. Games like
King's Quest or Gold Rush show the quality of their porting system!"

True!

It's a fact that even in a time when the IIgs was alive and the market
was there (not a large market but a market anyway), these dudes headed
into the 'big' PC business at the same time when companies like
Origin made first tentative steps into the IIgs market. Sierra has
developed the same greedy and arrogant behavior as Apple Inc. and I
certainly would not invite Ken Williams to the KansasFest. But you can't
deny that Sierra has contributed its part to software history in the
early days when the Apple II was still young. It may be interesting
to hear some stories about the old games, but don't ask them about new
software or they will come out with some darn excuses again. Games like
Neuromancer GS demonstrate that the Apple IIgs is absolutely incapable
of handling an animated adventure in gs super hi-res graphics.
Games like Tomahawk are an example that the gs is much too slow and
technically inadequate for a fast helicopter simulation... ;-(
