OK, lets look at his actions. The question that keeps popping up is why do
people think he such a troubemaker? Ignorance is the answer. Person A
posts an article: Piracy is ok. Nathan responds: Piracy is illegal--a
true fact which noone can deny. Person A posts: You are wrong. I am
right.
Person B says: Why isn't there a 3200 color JPG viewer for the GS?
Nathan responds to the technical reasons why other picture formats
are alot easier to convert to a 3200 color picture than a JPG and
concludes that a 3200 color JPG picture viewer is unreasonable.
Person B responds: why are you stifling Apple II development.
In both of these cases, Nathan is being so logical that you just have
to stand there with your jaw open in astonishment that he provides
the correct answer to the original post. Since person A and B both
thought they were being offended and responded with something stupid,
Nathan is doing his best to defend why his answer is correct. Is it
me or is really Person A and Person B really at fault for causing the
stupid flame fests on csa2 and csas2p?

So what if he is arrogant and condescending--live with it. I can.

Even in the Apple II heyday, didn't anybody read the legal section in
Nibble about computer law? There were examples upon examples of
distributing software and how it pertained to the law. There were full
page ads that do not copy software. If you skipped over those sections, than
you weren't paying attention. If you weren't paying attention then, why
are you paying attention now?

He only corrects the "wrong" that is being posted. He should be appluaded,
not condemnded. The guy is super intelligent. I am constantly amazed how
quickly and accurately he comes up with answers.

Lets see...Nathan has helped development of software, Dr. Tom has
stifled development. From someone who knows what a developer goes through
in today's world, I think I'll choose a side.
