As I mentioned, I went back to 640x480 on the scan doubler and let the
LCD upscale from there. If there was any improvement, it was either
marginal or imagined.
I am trading for a 15 inch LCD with 1024x768 native resolution. I'll
test it this weekend and see if it makes any difference. Going to
1024x768 on the scan doubler and then natively to the LCD may look
better. My current not-quite-spare LCD is 1280x1024, which the scan
doubler doesn't support.
