Re: Apple IIe problem

pc,
I am really going back in time for this one, but I believe that your
Apple may be looking for the Integer Basic program that used to come
on the old Apple II, (NOT the II+). For a period of time, AppleSoft
Basic had to be loaded from disk or cassette, and Integer Basic was
in the firmware. When the II+ came out, Integer Basic came on
the Master Disk. If you have a disk that WILL load, try putting
in the disks that DO NOT load, and see if the filetype for the
"HELLO" program isn't marked with an "I", as opposed to an "A" for
AppleSoft, or a "B" for a Binary file.

I also believe that the Integer Basic program was a binary file. To
load it you had to type "BRUN INTEGERBASIC" or some such command. Hope
that this is helpful.
