As per my e-mail which I just sent:

This isn't comp.sys.apple2.programming. It's comp.sys.apple2.programmer.
Jack is looking for programmers and is discussing what needs to be done in
order to get this task he has done. Therefore, this really IS the place
for these conversations to take place and not comp.sys.apple2.

Also, IMO, comp.sys.apple2.programmer isn't so overburdened with messages
that it couldn't take a few extraneous messages anyway. I mean heck -
comp.sys.apple2 is showing up with 279 messages in it while
comp.sys.apple2.programmer only has 19.

So the only problem I see here - if you will excuse my saying so - is you.

We may not ever accomplish anything. I give you that because it is a
possibility. But what we really do not need is someone who is out to
destroy any hope at all of our accomplishing this goal. Someone who is
going to be destructive - rather than constructive in their comments.
Death, gloom, no hope have no place in this debate. We are not here to
listen to someone tell us what the Apple computers can not do. We are not
here to listen to someone who's voice talks to us of the grave, of death,
of putting an end to our dialog. We are here to simply try. And if that
means that we do not succeed in our venture - then so be it. At least
_we_ tried and failed. At least _we_ did not stand in the path of
another. Forbidding them to tread where we would not go. Placing
stumbling blocks in front of them so their journey is made all the harder
instead of helping them along. At least _we_ gave constructive ideas and
not destructive ones. Can you say the same? I think not. For your
entire message is naught but one, big, stumbling block. Meant to stop our
entire discussion whether or not you meant it to do so. So I only have
these immortal words passed onto me by my mom many years ago: If you
can't play nice - then don't play at all!

HAH! I'm sorry! I was just being TOO metaphysical there! :-P
