How much RAM do you have in the Control Panel (RAM disk setup)?  If your
computer is _really_ confused about how much RAM you have, it's
understandable that it would crash.

Also, am I correct in assuming you do not have an accelerator card?  Most
serious problems that I have seen on various GS's were solved by reseating
the cable from the accelerator to the motherboard microprocessor socket.

Also, are you setting the MIN and MAX sizes of the RAM disk in the Control
Panel to the same size?  If not, you'll have problems.

Lastly, why use a RAM disk at all?  If you have a hard drive and a
RamFAST, you certainly don't need a RAM disk!  To me a RAM disk is a very
poor substitute for a hard drive.  It's not any faster than a RamFAST, and
it is certainly more likely to cause problems and loss of data.
