I saw the demo of GW III 2.0 at KansasFest and it was shown on a IIgs
that wasn't accelerated (the idiot owner of the IIgs had his Zip GS
set to "off" upon bootup--oh, wait a sec that was *my* IIgs...).
The program ran great on a 2.8 mHz machine. I could just picture that
it would run even better wih the Zip GS on. From what I saw, GW III 2.0
runs better on a 2.8 mHz machine than Word Perfect 6.1 for Windows on
a 8 meg 486/33 on a NetBUI network (and for those who have never seen the
Word Perfect anology, overall response time is VERY sluggish).
What I'm saying is that you can get away without an accelerator, but
you'll be happier if you had one.
