Ah, I don't do that. I leave each computer to it's individual task.

Well, a friend keeps his email and bookmarks on his MacBook Pro and iMac
synced via MobilMe and hasn't had any complaints about it. I know it
could keep at least some data organized as well, but I've never looked
into that.
