Actually longer ago than that, Quadras and Powerbooks don't have a disk port
and they came out starting in '91.
I don't think IBM makes floppies, you must be saying PC style floppies. They
aren't like that, they still have power eject and can read GCR disks. They only
lack the Sony patented auto inject mechanism. Powerbooks have had manual
inject from the get go, probably since they can be smaller because they don't
have the inject hardware.

Me too, I have a superdrive plus a network so I get around it two ways
