GS usability

Now that I'm using my IIgs again, I'm reminded of a few annoyances in
how things work. Perhaps someone can suggest some software fixes for
the following.

Sticky Finder menus. I have a program called AutoMenus that drops down
a Finder menu when the mouse simply points to it. Although this is
better than having to click-hold to use the menus, I would prefer to
first have to click (no holding of the button) before the menu appears
(like on modern Macs and Windows).

Too many windows open. Is there any way to make folders open in the
same parent window, without opening yet another window? Given the
small screen of the IIgs, this would be a big improvement.

Finder exits and reloads on program run. I found a few apps that may
provide some method of switching between multiple programs and the
Finder without reloading everything from disk. I'll probably test
these over the weekend. Is any particular app recommended?
