As long as the comp.sources.apple2 newsgroup exists, there should
still be reference to the unpaff (upaff?) program.  The 'obsolete'
section (with a caveat that it is -- technically -- not obsolete) would
probably be sufficient.

You may want to mention that the parts of a binscii file need not
be in sequence.

Perhaps I'm misinterpreting your statement, but I believe you can
extract the binscii pieces on separate runs of sciibin/gscii+ and
still get a good *.shk file provided you get all the pieces.
