The reason I first proposed this idea was that it would offer a reliable
place for all Apple II users to find FAQ's and informative posts on
specific topics. Plus, although I have no problem with new users, I do
feel that there are several people here who have a tendency to jump off
the handle at people who are uninformed. I do understand that this is not
exactly necessary, but just as comp.sys.apple2.com helps to ferret out
questions specifically geared towards the Apple II and the internet, a new
group, or maybe even comp.sys.apple2.usergroups could be used to ferret
out or redirect these types of questions.
