Re: New group??

Typical Quote From This String:
--------------------------------------------------------------
>Every state has some form written and driving test to get a license.
>Some have only 20 questions, and only require 15 right.
>They don't, however, in any state, ever test anyone after the first time,
>and people *do* forget (or ignore) rules. And judging by the way new
>drivers in Az drive, the test has gotten easier to pass.

Oh, yeah, we should have a separate Usenet group for "new users."
All the "old users" here always keep to the point and talk about Apple II
related issues.

PS - It's not like this group is overwhelmed with posts. If some newbie
doesn't know how do something (that you consider easy just because you've
had your machines longer) and you are annoyed by this newbie's post then
ignore it. Someone else will help him out in finding hardware, software, or
with installing whatever.

If not, he'll grow frustrated with his new Apple II and eventually ignore it.
Yeah. He'll buy some PC or something eventually.

With the current (non)state of the II, I don't think we should be castigating
people who just bought one. It's not like a newbie can go to Waldenbooks and
buy some Apple II For Dummies book.
