The approach I've used is to convert 2mg files to whole disk sdk
(ShrinkIt) files on a PC within an emulated GS environment on the PC.
I then transfer those to my Mac Color Classic via 720K DOS floppies,
which works if your Mac has PC Exchange installed (OS version 7.5 if I
recall correctly). I then copy the sdk files to ProDOS floppies to
transfer them to the GS, and use ShrinkIt on it to write them back to
physical media. The process is a bit of a pain, but it works and I've
used it to create in excess of 100 disks for use on the GS.
