Hello
I am new here and hope you can help me with my little issue.
I own a Apple IIgs (i have blank disks but no software)
just about everything online is stored as a .2mg image file.
now i do have a Performa 475 that i did use to format a few 3.5"
disks to prodos 800k. i also downloaded the install disk 1 of GS/OS
(uses a Mac SEA from Apples FTP), i then made a disk out of that
which works fine.
used another disk to copy a tools to install onto the disk ( asimov,
shrinkit gs, BScit, and a few other tools) all of those was in a
shrinkit archive format.
now the issue is that most of the .2mg unzip or unstuff to a few k
over 800k ( too big to fit on a 800k floppy disk to use asimov) and
so far i have not been able to find any software that will work with
.2mg files on a 68k Mac running OS 7.
question is
Is there any software for a 68k Mac that will work with a .2mg or to
convert it over to where disk copy 4 can use. because right now this
is the only way for me to transfer data over to the IIgs.
