Well, it seems as if most KansasFest product announcements were upstaged
by the first official showing of GuS...the IIGS emulator for the
PowerMac.

In addition to announcing two new Apple IIGS CD-ROMs, Shareware Solutions
II also released CheckWorks, a sophisticated and complete
AppleWorks/TimeOut-based checking account management program. And, just
moments before the GuS demo started, SSII even managed to present a demo
of Brutal Deluxe's upcoming IIGS game. As excited as folks were to see
that game, within minutes, GuS kind of made everyone forget about Brutal
Deluxe and CheckWorks and everything else.

For SSII subscribers, a Kfest guided tour will be published in the next
