configuration question

I have sort of a freenet account at my local library.  It is somewhat
limited as it is menu driven, I woul,d prefer a unix shell account,
but it is free.  When I post a message my name used is WADE.  I
would like to change it to Mark Wade but I can't get at a configuration
file.  My account at the library is mwade@suffolk.lib.ny.us but
apparently the system telnets to newshost.li.net.  I can configure
pine on the library system to use Mark Wade, it was set to WADE, but
it doesn't carry over to tin, which is used as the newsreader, as I
had hoped.

Is there some way I can configure tin to use my full name or am I
limited with this system and have to use what they give me?
