Parallel cards

I found that Alltech carries 2 parallel printer cards called

- Graphstar
- Grappler +

and Sequential carries one called

- Q-Print II

Has anybody had any experience with these cards on a GS?  I'll be using 
them to print graphics and text on a Canon BJC-4100 in Epson LQ 
emulation mode.  Also, on a Rom 3 running Sys 6.0.1, if I put the 
interface into slot 1, will I have to change the slot to "Your Card" or 
can I keep the serial port active?  Thanks in advance for any information!
