I mentioned zip files simply because I thought that was your
preference, but I don't use them myself for transfers to the Mac.
Instead, I simply transfer the sdk files directly to the Mac, since
they are already compressed archives.  On the Mac, I have installed a
freebie file type changer that let's me drop the sdk files I've
transferred onto its icon, and it figures out what the ProDOS filetype
should be and sets it appropriately.  I then copy the sdk file to a
ProDOS formatted floppy and use that to get it to the IIGS, where I
can use ShrinkIt to open it and create a working disk.
