[Tip: hit return every 70 columns, not 90. Makes it much easier
to read and quote.]

The comp.sys.apple2 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) was posted to
this newsgroup on the first of this month, and answers the questions
above. For a short set of answers, IBM PC and Apple II floppy disk
formats are incompatible at a hardware level, so you will need (rare)
addon hardware on one or both sides to transfer information. The best
method is by a serial link, though that requires software (which is
available; see the modem disk offer by Steve Canvanaugh in the
FAQ). The Apple //c+ has a disk capacity of 800K on its internal 3.5"
drive.

In case your local news server has already disposed of the FAQ
(which is very bad style-- the header information indicated that it
should be kept until next month), you can see the hypertext version
of it at http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/faq/index.html
