I have a CD Rom hooked to my GS.  I use the GOlden Orchard CD ROM, the
DiscQuest and DQE stuff.  I also can use stuff off Mac and PC CDroms (WAV
files, GIFS, JPEGS, text, TrueType Fonts, Mods,etc)  Is it worth it? YES! 
Not only do i have alot more files to work with, I don't have to use my hard
drive as storage!
