   There's a huge difference between a bug and a feature request. [E.g
Convert.3200 not displaying quarter size previews is the lack of a
FEATURE, not a bug] Bugs cause the system to misbehave, something
that's quantifiable, deterministic, and abnormal. A new feature is
none of that. Bugs are usually fixable with a short (<10 assembly
lines) amount of code.

   Features, on the other hand, require really looking into the source
code to understand the algorithms and data structures, not to mention
patching out large chunks of the program. Without the source code (not
released for the Finder), doing such a thing is a _major_ undertaking.

   In other words, this is not something that GUPP 1.x will
do. Someone's welcome to try, though.
