Re: Imagewriter and ProFile Questions

Hi, Otter!

        Neither. You need a Profile Interface Card. The ProFile was
designed to use a parallel-printer type interface to drive it, and the //e
interface was basically the same with an added ROM to enable boot.

        ImageWriter II - for usage on a //e or //c or //gs, it's
recommended to be set as:

SW1 - All Open (Option: For 12cpi, you can set 1-6 and 1-7 to Closed/Open).
SW2 - 1 and 2 both closed for 9600bps.  3 Closed for Xon/Xoff, open for
DTR. 4 is option card installed - open disables option card.

        NEVER fiddle with 2-5 and 2-6.

        Eh? Is it JUST the keyboard (ADB) port? If so, it's a Global
Village Teleport modem, and I've never seen drivers to operate it off of a
//gs.
