Recently, I had four PCs stolen from my home. Right now, I'm borrowing a
Pentium system from a friend who is away for the summer, but when he returns,
I will not have access to a PC. (Un?)fortunately, I still have an Apple //c
and a modem. I simply wish to be able to dial up my university's computer to
check e-mail, run lynx, and possibly IRC...but I need a terminal program to do
so! I have checked all over the net, I have RTFM and FAQs, and I have
discovered no way for a PC to write directly to an Apple disk. I have asked
all my friends/aquaintances and even local businesses about Apple terminal
software with no luck.
This is my request: Send me a copy of a terminal program (I don't care which
one, as long as it can do VT100 in 80 columns and file transfers) to keep me
connected to the online worrld! You will be doing me a huge favor, and I
will appreciate it very much. It won't cost very much (just one 5 1/4" disk
plus minimal shipping), I will be able to continue connecting to the online
world, and you will feel a calming sense of satisfaction that you have helped
out a needy Apple user.
If you wish to help out, drop me some e-mail and I'll give you the address to
ship to. Thank you for reading this, and may the Apple live on!
