In all honesty, many a user group bulletin board has distributed HCGS
electronically. Like Rubywand said in another thread, its the classic
"don't ask, don't tell." Not suprisingly, Apple has not gone after
Asimov for distributing ProDOS 8 and DOS 3.3.

A suggestion: can both your site and 1WSW's make a link to Apple's
FTP site? For example, in the directory "apple16/system/" you
could have one selection "hypercard." Then when the reader selects
hypercard, they are linked to the Apple FTP page containing the
hypercard archives.
 
This might only work if accessing with a web browser (or can ftp
do links too?)
