Ok. It would be good for the Apple community to have you both. You
provide great software, bug fixes, and FAQs (thanks for nuking the
pirate site). Mr. Turley goes out of his way to help new users -
for example, if someone posts that they are looking for a piece of
shareware or freeware, he looks for it and puts it on his site.
Fact: he did write the 3D psychoaccoustic thing, obviously wrong
Fact: that was a long time ago
Fact: now he is helping the Apple community, 1WSW does make software,
his site is home to several notable contributors to the Apple
world
Fact: many people have said that it is time to end the flame war
Fact: we would all be better off with both of you around.
Opinion: let's focus our energy a real issue, like making people
aware of the nature of the Asimov site

Where did I say that? I said that truth and courtesy can coexist. In
fact, one of my constructive criticisms was that when such criticisms
are presented politely, they are more likely to be followed. In this
way, the accuracy of our group goes up. Nowhere did I say civility
counts more than truth.
What I am suggesting is that if you have to flame someone, do it in
email. Why? Because this flaming is contrary to the purpose of
comp.sys.apple2. Flame wars in a public forum are negative because
new users drop by, see the war, and decide to move on. THEY haven't
posted any "lies," but this group and our Apple IIs would have become
that much less viable from their departure.

I agree.
