   So fragging what? If the author chooses to do so, it's the author's
perogative. Just because you may feel superior to the author does
NOT give you the right to do anything to the author's rights.

   Ummm, you seem to be claiming that your site has the right to hold
anything you damn well feel like. Wrongola. Your site has the right to
hold anything that the authors allowed. The author's rights are far
superior to any archivers'.

   If you felt that copyrighted software was stupid in general, that
would not give you the right to put Windoze 95 on your site for
everyone to grab. Why? The author's rights say that that's not
permitted. There is no slippery slope where there is the ability to
override the author's explicit wishes in some cases, but not in
others.
