Proof as in get those programmers to speak for themselves.  I would be
more inclined to believe those people left over the constant feuding
between the The Order Of the Inflated Egos and Mr. Turley, not by Mr.
Turley himself.

And I _do_ watch things on here. I also know that I personally have had
run-ins with a few of those ego maniacs in the past (but I won't name
any names).

It never ceases to amaze me that some people insist on being the
self-proclaimed monarchs of the Apple II world and csa2. Not only is
that not needed, but it's also rather silly. I guess being a petty
tyrant in cyberspace helps inflate the ego in some strange, perverted
way.

It also never ceases to amaze me that the Apple II community, which
needs all the support it can get, insists on waging wars with its own
members in an effort to "expell" them (as if it's some sort of exclusive
club). We need everybody we can get. If some people would just let this
stuff die (christ, that 3D music stuff everyone keeps bringing up about
is ancient history. LET IT DIE) we'd all be better off.

Regarding 1WSW. _I_ am a member. I am not afraid to admit it. I wonder
if all this criticism of Dr. Tom and 1WSW caused some of its members to
decide they are better off denying any knowledge of ever having been
part of the group? Fortunately I happen to not give a damn what the Ego
Masters say about me. I turned my back on them before and I can
certainly do it again.

And, here's another fact to ponder: in all this bickering, how often has
Dr. Tom posted the kind of senseless crap we're seeing from the likes of
"Stroker Ace"? And Dr. Tom tells me that some childish individual
decided to subscribe his email address a bunch of heavy-traffic anime
mailing lists. Some people around here really need to grow up.

I propose this all get dropped, NOW, and for good. If you don't like
what Dr. Tom has to say, then just don't read his posts and don't visit
his web page. If you have legitimate complaints AND YOU CAN BACK THEM UP
(such as "there's pirated/sector edited/whatever stuff on the 1WSW
pages), then tell me. The 1WSW pages are on my system now and I'll
gladly remove anything that shouldn't be there (but I still stand by my
opinion that restricting distirbution of freeware from one individual
doesn't hold water). I also have a couple of comments for a couple of
individuals:

Nathan : take your lithium, man. Your finger is way too quick on the
trigger of the flamethrower.

Stroker Ace : get a life. You're going to go blind if you keep it up. :)
